UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO reported results of its dairy segment and livestock production

In 2019, the gross milk yield of the company’s farms amounted 27 353 kg. The actual productivity per cow at UPI-AGRO amounted 9020 kg, which is 47% higher than the average Ukrainian index (6150 kg).

Along this in 2019, the company started to sell heifers both on domestic and foreign markets. In total, around 600 heifers were sold.

As of January 1, 2020, the cattle herd of UPI-AGRO numbers 6700 heads including 3000 of milk cows. The base of the cattle herd of the company is Holstein-Friesian breed of American breeding which is nowadays considered to be the most productive and dominant milk cow.
