UPI-AGRO Company develops heifers' sales

Developing heifers' sales, UPI-AGRO sold 209 heifers of Holstein Friesian breed of American selection to 2 farmer companies in Ukraine in Zhytomyr and Vinnitsa region. Along this, the Company started to sign contracts on heifers' sales for the year 2020. 

“The Ukrainian producers praised the quality of our livestock. Due to the large number of applications for purchase, we have reached a new level of sales and introduced a European contracting practice in the Company, when heifers are grown under pre-contracted contracts. To date, we have already signed several contracts with Ukrainian enterprises, under which we will deliver heifers in 2020”, tells Maxim Armashov, director of Livestock Breeding Department of UPI-AGRO. 

To remind, earlier, the company "UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO" started exporting heifers abroad. The first batch of 97 heads was sent to Uzbekistan in September 2019.
