Gaisyn factory became a sugar sector leader

Gaisyn sugar factory in 2015 produced more than 104 thousand tons of sugar and became a leader of the Ukrainian sugar sector in terms of production. In the last production season, the factory processed 692 thousand tons of sugar beet with daily processing capacity 7583 tones.

These achievements are result of the implementation of the large-scale modernization program executed since 2006, which turned small old-fashioned sugar refinery into a modern factory of European type with daily processing capacity 8000 tons.

Except this, Gaysin sugar factory today is the most efficient sugar production capacity in Ukraine. Converting the plant’ steam boilers from gas to coal, enabled the cost of the steam production to decrease by 2.5 times thus optimizing the sugar production cost significantly. Totally, the investments into modernization program at Gaisyn sugar factory amounted 35 mln.US dollars.

The second Company’s sugar factory, Kryzhopil, also entered TOP3 with the result 590 thousand tons of beet processed and 90.7 thousand tons of sugar produced.
